There is a grass roots group trying too stop the present war
with the Cartels on our own soil. We can do it without guns and gunships and it won't cost the US taxpayer a dime. The pot smokers can beat the cartels, organized crime and big industry
without firing a shot. Our weapons will be a hoe and a spray bottle. STOP the BUY, GROW YOUR OWN, remove the market, remove
the problem. And the money that America spends on pot will be redistributed by everyone and stimulate the economy, plus other benifits. Please put STOP the BUY on all letters too reps and senators, and that guy too, they are already informed what it means.

I would hate too think I was giving money too any organization
that is going too use it against the US. I am joining this because it is the only way too be sure that I am not donating monies too any terrorist group from without or within the US.

Plant day is April 1st.an appropriate day,and our goal is reached upon harvest, when the drug cartels have no customers

It is a viable,non-violent solution to a stagnate,violent situation.

As I understand it, marijuana isn't the problem as far as importation goes that cocaine and heroin are. Yes, it does get imported and yes there is plenty of violence and corruption around it, but is the crime surronding pot importation a truly significant percentage of all the drug importation crime?
I ask because I really don't know.

Yes,the Mexican cartels are presently beheading people in Juarez, and there have been kidnapings and killings alleged to have been committed by them on US soil. They are reacting to a crackdown by their own government, financed by our government. And we (American taxpayer) are about to send the Mexican Government,
Gunships, guns and ammo too fight them with. And lots of money.which we don't have. The American potsmoker can shut down the cartels by growing their own weed, remove the market, remove the problem, without guns.STOP the BUY

The American pot smoker cannot do what you suggest, Clay. He needs new federal and civil penalties for personal use.

Mexican cartels infiltrate Houston...
Houston has long been a major staging ground for importing illegal drugs from Mexico and shipping them to the rest of the United States, but a recent Department of Justice report notes it is one of 230 cities where cartels maintain distribution networks and supply lines.Houston has long been a major staging ground for importing illegal drugs from Mexico and shipping them to the rest of the United States, but a recent Department of Justice report notes it is one of 230 cities where cartels maintain distribution networks and supply lines. Bernard L. Madoff is facing life in prison for operating a vast Ponzi scheme that began at least 20 years ago and consumed billions of dollars of other people’s money.
While his fate will not be certain until he is sentenced, his lawyer told a federal judge on Tuesday that he intended to plead guilty on Thursday to all the criminal charges that federal prosecutors had filed against him — a list that could yield a prison sentence of 150 years.
Mr. Madoff was arrested Dec. 11 at his Manhattan home by federal agents who accused him of running what was perhaps the largest fraud in Wall Street’s history. The scheme zigzagged across the world, drawing in foreign banks, hedge funds, charities, celebrities and ordinary retirees who had entrusted their savings to his investment firm…
What I don't understand is why his family gets to benefit from his theft. Putting his various homes in his wife's name should not protect them from seizure in my opinion. Why can't he be charged under RICO and have those assets seized?

Looks as though that madman shooter in Georgia had an arsenal on his person yesterday. All registered, I'm sure

Thank god for Laura Ingraham. If not for her well reasoned and considered commentary, I might have made the mistake of thinking that people of normal weight are entitled to an opinion.
Ingraham, Coulter, Limbaugh and the rest of them are the best thing that has happened to the Democrats in ages. Seriously, is Ingraham so threatened by Meghan McCain that slamming her weight is the best argument she can summon? LOL!
The press is just loving this. It's been going on for what, a week now, and hasn't died down yet.

Laura got her job because she looked good in a faux leather leopard-print mini skirt.
Evidnetly Republicans only like their men with weight on them...Rush and that Brietbart asshole...they want their women gaunt and bony...like their hearts.
9892. judithathome - 3/17/2009 5:07:35 PM
Laura's political views aren't the only thing that's skewed if she thinks a size 8/10 body is PLUS-SIZED. Gah!!!!
9893. wabbit - 3/17/2009 6:00:15 PM
Seriously. I wonder what world these people live in. Oh, wait, they live in a world where they can work five hours a day, four days a week, and still afford a personal trainer.

So, I just heard that Natasha Richardson IS dead from that fall while skiing.
She was a wonderful actress...as should be expected with her genes.
9895. Ms. No - 3/20/2009 5:01:22 AM
Yes, I was very sad to hear it. She died while I was watching her husband's latest film --- not a film for Judith to see however much one might love Liam Neeson.
9896. judithathome - 3/20/2009 4:31:43 PM
Was it his latest?
Could I just sit with my eyes closed and enjoy his lovely voice?

It's a PG-13 semi-action flic about a former military special ops guy who goes to Paris to rescue his daughter from sex traffickers.
It wasn't all that great and I actually like stuff like that. I just have a beef with PG-13 films in general.

Peligro! Frijoles Peligro!
WACO,TX — Waco police say a fight over flatulence left one man stabbed and another facing an assault charge.
A statement today says police were called to a motel where several men from the Houston area were sharing a room.
Police say 35-year-old Juan Antonio Salano Castellano allegedly passed gas in the room Tuesday night.
Police say one of the other men became upset, picked up a knife and threw it at Castellano, who was cut in the leg. The suspect is accused of then stabbing Catellano in the chest.
Castellano was transported to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center, where police say he was treated for non-life threatening wounds.
